In a chemical filled city below sea level something is brewing. Teenage werewolves can’t hardly stand it. All those close turn into human flies.
Om de lang verloren klanken van de legendarische band The Cramps tot leven te brengen, presenteren we je: The Fiends of Dope Island. Met hun mix van punk en rockabilly spraken The Cramps altijd de freaks en buitenbeentjes van de samenleving aan. Dus trek je dansschoenen aan en beweeg zoals Lux en Ivy het gewild zouden hebben.

Bad Samaritans

In hun vroege tienerjaren waren deze zes voormalige engelachtige koorknapen op zolder op zoek naar vieze boekjes, toen ze per toeval een paar krakende en versleten platen van Little Richard, Elvis en CCR ontdekten in de vinylcollectie van hun vader. Die openbaring zorgde ervoor dat ze hun koorzieltjes meteen en voor een prikje verkochten aan de rock-‘n-roll.

Enige tijd later kruisten hun paden — en verdorven geesten — elkaar opnieuw in doorrookte, duistere lokale kroegen, waar plannen werden gesmeed, aangedreven door een zieke obsessie voor alles wat naar rauwe rock-‘n-roll ruikt (en een beetje alcohol).

Op het podium storten ze zich in een pittige stoofpot van ruige garage, botten-klapperende rhythm-‘n-blues, moerassige rock-‘n-roll en een snuif verzengende soul.

Bad Samaritans stonden al 2 keer eerder op ons podium en mochten ondertussen oa ook op Sjockfestival spelen.
