En geen betere dag als 1 mei, internationaal de meest gevierde, niet-religieuze, feest- en/of strijddag. De dag van de gewone, werkende mensen. De kleurrijke dag van de solidariteit, wereldwijd. 

> Het MayDay-team voorziet goeie muziek, en Cafe Au Lait nog betere cocktails. 12 uur lang! 
> We kiezen geen partij. Al zijn er in ons team wel duidelijk enkele partijbeesten of 'activisten'. Dat verdient sowieso respect! We blijven een divers team & gelukkig zijn we nog met velen die het wel anders en beter willen voor iedereen, expliciet dmv menselijkheid en solidariteit.  
> Op 1 mei staan we samen achter deze krachtige boodschap én oproep: 

MAYDAY MAYDAY... 
als in "HULP" of "ALARM".... 
We dansen de benen uit het lijf, maar met een duidelijke boodschap aan wie het kan horen.

* END RACISM
* NO MORE WAR!  
Dit moet terug de focus worden van... alles eigenlijk.

Stijl? Een wereldse selectie & mix van soul, funk, disco, hiphop, ska, bossa, rocksteady, RnB, reggae, afro, oldskool & newskool!
