Op vrijdag 19 februari 2026 staan ze opnieuw op het podium van de Antwerpse concertzaal. 

Editors hebben geen introductie meer nodig. De Britse band is sindszijn start in 2002 uitgegroeid tot een ware Belgische publiekslieveling. Hun debuutalbum 'The Back Room' (2005) werd genomineerd voor de prestigieuze Mercury Prize. Opvolgers 'An End Has A Start' (2007) en 'In This Light And On This Evening' (2009) bereikten moeiteloos de top van de hitlijsten. Songs als "No Sound But The Wind" en "Papillon" doen hele zalen en festivalweides uit volle borst meezingen. Met 'Surface, Echo & Sound' brengen ze dit najaar hun intussen achtste album uit. De eerste single "Call It In" en het kersverse "The Rush" klinken alvast heel veelbelovend.

Deze zomer staat frontman Tom Smith nog op Rock Werchter met zijn soloproject en speelt de band op Cactus Festival, Lokerse Feesten en Suikerrock. Volgend jaar pakken ze uit met hun grootste hits en nieuwe muziek in de AFAS Dome in Antwerpen.

À l’occasion de la sortie de « Surface, Echo & Sound », son huitième album studio, Editors reprendra la route pour une vaste tournée au Royaume-Uni et en Europe qui comprend évidemment, une halte incontournable chez nous ! Editors n’a plus besoin d’être présenté. Depuis sa formation en 2002, le groupe britannique entretient une relation privilégiée avec le public belge. Révélé au grand jour avec « The Back Room » (2005), nommé au prestigieux Mercury Prize, Editors enchaîne ensuite les succès. Avec « An End Has A Start » (2007) puis « In This Light And On This Evening » (2009), le groupe conquiert les sommets des charts et affirme une identité sonore qui fera sa renommée bien au-delà du Royaume-Uni. Leurs chansons comme « No Sound But The Wind » et « Papillon » donnent lieu à des moment intenses où tout le public chante à tue-tête.
