Ready to develop skills that can save lives in challenging terrain? We’re calling all aspiring volunteers, outdoor enthusiasts, and safety advocates to join our Mountain SAR Training!


WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
 
- Basic to intermediate mountain navigation (map, compass, GPS use)
- Emergency medical response for high-altitude/remote settings
- Search patterns and rescue operation protocols
- Risk assessment and terrain safety management
- Proper use of SAR equipment and gear
 
WHO CAN JOIN:
 
- Individuals 18 years old and above
- Thoese below 18years old will need a letter of parentak consent 
- Physically fit and able to work in rugged terrain
- Passionate about serving the community
- No prior SAR experience needed – training will cover all fundamentals!
