- **Event Description**: In this fun hands-on mixed media workshop, artist Erin Whalen teaches students a variety of exciting ways to use mixed media on 2D and 3D surfaces!

Students will have a choice of creating their piece using a glass wine bottle, apothecary bottle, large wine glass or a wooden panel.

In addition to basic decoupage tips, you’ll learn to work with:

liquid polymer
texture paste
stain applications
acrylic dry-brush
metallic waxes

Techniques learned in this beginner-friendly class can be applied to many different mixed media art forms.  The possibilities are endless!

Date: Friday June 12, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Ages: 16 to adult
Cost: $75 per person includes ALL supplies.  You’ll make at least one piece in class and will have enough material left to make another piece (or more!) at home.

Space is limited so register early!  To reserve your spot visit the Antioch Art Center at 896 Main Street or call 847.838.2274 during open-door hours on Wednesday through Sundays.
