An Offering of Movement, Sound, and Sacred Gift-Giving.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter belongs to the Kidneys —
the deep root where Essence is stored, warmth is protected,
and the mystery of life is held beneath stillness.
This is the season of Water.
 Of the North.
 Of salt + minerals + marrow + silence.
 Of fear’s alchemy — into trust, endurance, and quiet courage.

 Date: Wednesday, January 14th, 2026
 Time: 7:00pm – 8:30-ish
 Location: Steinhart Distillery, 5963 HWY 245, Arisaig, NS
 Venue: TBA the day of, it will be either the Steinhart Distillery (first big building on the left when you come up the driveway) or the Big Red Building at the very top of the hill. 
 Cost: A Gift of BLACK or DEEP INDIGO ? (for the altar — to place and receive)

Please bring a gift that is black or deep indigo — or contains an aspect of those colours — something handmade or handpicked to honour the waters within you, the wisdom of rest, and the deep will of Winter.
Think: obsidian, dark chocolate, sea salt, black tea, ocean stones, ink, books of poetry, dried kelp or seaweed, midnight-hued ceramics, bath items (salts, bath oils, scrubs), warming spices… any offering infused with intention + mystery.
At the close of our gathering, you’ll be invited to choose a new gift from the altar — a living symbol of replenishment, reciprocity, and the quietly luminous power of deep presence.
