- **Event Description**: Indian Lake State Forest is hosting an evening hike during the sunset hours to kick off Springs Awareness Month.  We will walk through the forest to visit our lake prairie and 85-foot-deep lake, just as the moon makes its reflection over the lake at dark.  We will meet at the Pavilion near the recreation parking area.  This hike should last just under an hour with several stops along the way to interpret the area's contribution to the Floridian Aquifer.  Bring your flashlight and comfortable shoes for hiking incline areas of the forest. The evening will end at our Group Campsite.  Bring your chairs and musical talents to share around the campfire.
