This workshop will help to capture local communities’ relationship to the water and help to provide valuable insights to support future legislation and initiatives in the area.Join us for a fun day, starting with a Microplastic Survey on the Anstruther beach where we will help to assess the impact of microplastics and provide important insights to Restoration Forth. Then we will move into the Dreel Halls.You can book for morning or afternoon, or both. Just select the ticket(s) you want.Following spending time surveying, we will convene for some light lunch (provided), whilst our experts share with you some insightful information relating to the Firth of Forth and data trends provided by organisations such as SEPA and DEFRA. This will swiftly be followed by a professional storyteller telling some short stories to inspire and trigger your imagination!There will be 3 large scale maps of the local area, based on Past / Present / Future. Our professional artist and team will facilitate a session to probe and question around your connection to the local area and water. Capturing your views and thoughts and insights on the maps themselves. This will be interactive and creative, with various materials available that can be used with the map to really capture the discussion.We would love to hear about any forgotten words or phrases you may have heard in the past or currently still use so that we can keep these alive. At the end of the map session, there will be a final wrap up storytelling from our professional storyteller.This afternoon session will be light-hearted, informative and fun.
