- **Event Description**: Late last year, the father of one of our player’s was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. To help support the Hakins family in their fight, Ansonia Softball will be hosting a purple game in partnership with Project Purple, a local non profit organization whose main mission is to spread awareness around early detection of the disease and help patients and families who are battling. 
Please take the time to join us for a night filled with fun, food, softball, and hope. You can enjoy burgers and hot dogs along with drinks, snacks, and baked goods, with all the proceeds being donated. And you won’t want to miss our raffle baskets and 50/50 drawing for a chance to win while also giving back!
Hope to see you there to help fight for not only the Hakins family, but all families who are currently being affected or have been affected by pancreatic cancer. 

When: Wednesday May 13th. Ceremony at 5:30 PM. Game at 6:00 PM
Where: Nolan Softball Field
