Open to girls in Kindergarten- 2nd grade.About this EventOver the course of 6 weeks, USA Girl Scouts Overseas will deliver an engaging program that fosters an appreciation for movement, sportsmanship, and Girl Scout values.About the SeriesThrough age-appropriate activities, 12 girls in Kindergarten though 2nd grade will learn the value of movement, sportsmanship, and teamwork all while making new friends and having fun! Each week they will focus on different aspects of athletics like: the basics of movement, leadership, teamwork, and coordination. The girls will leave the program as young leaders, excited about the various ways they can incorporate movment into their lives, both on and off the field.Dates and LocationThe program will begin on September 13, 2026 and end on October 18th, 2026 taking place on Sundays. It will run from 2:00pm-3:00pm each Sunday and occur on U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach at the Girl Scout Hut. The exact address will be provided at the time of registration. Access to base is required for participation in this program.***Parents and guardians are welcome to stay or drop off their child for the duration of the program.Program GiveawaysAll USAGSO participants will receive the following:Girl Scouts T-ShirtGirl Scouts Drawstring BagGirl Scouts Water BottleGirl Scouts Sports PatchRegistrationWhen registering for the program, you will find two ticket types. Please read below to ensure you select the correct ticket."New member registration (18 month membership)"- Please select this option if you are not currently a registered USA Girl Scout Overseas member and have interest in participating in Girl Scout activities into 2027. The cost for this ticket includes entrance to the series and a (required) yearly membership at a discounted cost. At the end of the program, girls will have the ability to join a troop, sell cookies, or participate in other USAGSO programs and camps. This membership will not expire until September 30th, 2027."Returning member registration"- Please select this option if you are a current USAGSO member. This ticket is only available to current members as it only includes the cost of the series.All participants must:Be in grades Kindergarten- through 2nd.Have access to Army Garrison Ansbach.Be or become a registered USA Girl Scouts Overseas member.***New members registering for the program will receive a discounted USAGSO membership.***Please note that there is a limited number of spots available for returning members.For additional details on the series, please reach out to us at overseascustomercare@girlscouts.org.
