This event will be held on-site at Anoka Nature Preserve, located at 4299 Parkview Ln, Anoka, MN 55303.The program is free but registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. This event will involve walking on paved trails and uneven forest floor. Volunteer work will also involve bending, digging, lifting, and watering. If you anticipate needing any accommodations in order to volunteer or have any questions, please contact Lauren Schmelzer by email at lauren.schmelzer@anokaswcd.org or call 763-434-2030 x220.In case of bad weather, this event may be postponed. All registered volunteers will be informed in advance and an alternative date and time will be provided through email.What to BringPlease bring a water bottle, sun protection, insect repellent, and gardening gloves (ACD has some gloves for volunteers, but it is encouraged to bring your own).
