Anoka, MN - The Jan Johansen Gallery of Rumriver Art Center is excited to announce the opening of a new art exhibition; Potluck: Art of (and About) Food. On Saturday, January 10th, from 2 pm - 4 pm, Rumriver Art Center will be hosting an opening reception. This event is free and open to the public.

Artists were prompted to explore any and all aspects of food through their unique creative lens. The artwork ranges from the intimate interior view of one’s kitchen and family dining table to addressing the socio-economic contexts of consumption. This exhibition showcases over thirty artists and a wide array of artistic mediums. 

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, Rumriver Art Center is holding a food drive in partnership with HOPE 4 Youth. HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists young adults experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities Metro area. Gallery visitors are encouraged, but not required to bring a donation.

This show is on display at Rumriver Art Center from January 10th - January 31st, 2026.
