Première création originale de la RB Dance Company, STORIES est un spectacle entièrement dansé et narratif conçu par Romain Rachline Borgeaud.

Sur scène, 10 artistes interprètent tour à tour les différents personnages de l’intrigue et suivent le destin du protagoniste principal, Icare. Cette succession de tableaux, mêlant à la fois claquettes et jazz urbain, se déroule sur une partition spécialement composée pour le spectacle par Romain Rachline Borgeaud.

Les chorégraphies prennent place au milieu d’une scénographie en mouvement constant conçue par Federica Mugnai, et sublimée par une création lumière soignée d’Alex Hardellet.

La RB Dance Company a été fondée en 2018, avec notamment la volonté de moderniser les claquettes. Dans « Stories » les chorégraphies prennent place au milieu d’une scénographie en mouvement constant. Il y a d’une part la volonté d’aborder la dualité, du héros tiraillé par des forces qui s’affrontent et qui le dépassent, et d’autre part l’envie de partager des sensations. La musique de « Stories » est magnifique et les claquettes viennent compléter cette partition, créant une osmose complète entre ce qui se passe sur le plateau et ce que l’on entend.
