Il a collaboré avec Elton John, Joni Mitchell, David Byrne, Mark Ronson, Chaka Khan, Brandi Carlile, John Legend… Il a aussi écrit deux opéras et de nombreuses musiques de films et séries. En 2024, il a créé son Dream Requiem avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, publié chez Warner Classics en 2025.
