Yet most of us were never taught what emotions actually are, why we have them, or how to relate to them in a healthy way. Instead, many of us learned to fix them, avoid them, talk ourselves out of them, or rush other people through them.In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore what it really means to build a relationship with emotions.... your own and those of the people around you.Together, we’ll talk about emotional intelligence in real-life terms and focus on becoming more emotionally fluent: the ability to notice feelings, understand their role, and respond to them with curiosity rather than control. This is not about “staying positive” or getting rid of uncomfortable emotions. It’s about learning how to support yourself through them.We’ll also explore how our discomfort with emotions often shows up in our relationships, especially when we try to fix, minimize, or avoid other people’s feelings.
