Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime Summer Series – “The Pout-Pout Fish” by Deborah Diesen

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.


The Pout-Pout fish is a very unhappy fish, because he believes that his only role is to frown and spread sadness to those around him. As he glides through the ocean, many sea creatures attempt to encourage him to smile and embrace happiness. Despite their efforts, the Pout-Pout fish insists that he is stuck in his ways and nothing will ever change.

Join us for a delightful time filled with a unique craft, singing and dancing. We’ll also enjoy some time in our lovely garden.
