With a long, rich history in the Annapolis, Baltimore, and DC alternative music scene dating back to the early '80s Naptown and Charm City circuit, The Monuments have spent five decades kicking out the jams with no loss of heart or passion for classic rock & roll.

The current lineup brings together some serious scene veterans:

Cindy Borchardt — robust lead vocals
William "Lump" Sutherland — power-strumming guitar
Russell Stone — lyrical lead guitar
Jay Turner — resonant bass
Richard King — rock-solid drums

After a long hiatus and no shortage of setbacks, the band has broken through with renewed energy — including their new single "Real Time" and their three-sided single "Last Punk," a tribute to their not-so-humble beginnings in Annapolis.
