Join our “Fall-ing into Winter” 8-week Yoga Program, every Tuesday, October 28 thru December 16. (with 3 class options each Tuesday)
Fall brings us the winds of change, with the brilliant falling leaves and the cooling temperatures. This prepares us with gratitude for our transition into a cozy winter with shorter days and holiday celebrations. This 8-week program focuses on seasonally changing us over, with the vibrant leaves to a time of self-care while keeping our inner-fires stoked. In all classes, specific Yoga poses in flowing sequences will aid in our transition to shorter days as we welcome the holidays. Focused, more flexible, and stronger, we will be ready for celebrations with family and friends in the colder weather.
You have a choice of Floor Flow Yoga, Chair Yoga, or (Stand-Up) Hatha Yoga; or a combination of your liking. Each class is 55 minutes and only costs $10 if you buy the 8-week package for $80, (e-transfer or cash are available as methods for prepayment). Or drop in for $15 to check it out and that fee will be applied if you decide to sign up for the package deal.
Floor Flow Yoga (10am)
Want to build strength and flexibility without ever getting off the floor? This flowing practice will help you do just that, all while staying on your mat! We will ease the body gently through a sequence of heart opening, body stretching, and core strengthening poses, using breath as a grounding force throughout. You’ll feel calmer, more flexible, and eased after this practice.
Chair Yoga (11am)
Looking for the endless benefits of Yoga while staying seated? This is your class! We’ll stretch, strengthen, and breathe through a sequence of seated poses and movements designed to improve vigor and wellbeing. You’ll feel stronger and more uplifted after this class.
Standing Hatha Yoga (12 noon)
Want to strengthen and stretch your body from head to toe? This Yoga practice guides you through the more traditional asanas (poses), with vinyasas, breathing techniques, and balancing poses. Here, you’ll build strength and balance through a mixture of held poses and moving vinyasas, while practicing traditional yogic breathing. You’ll feel stronger, focused and meditative by the end of class.
Please bring water and a yoga mat (dress in comfortable layers for the cooling down Savasana conclusion), and any other creature comforts you desire.
