Team Rules
Each team consists of surfers from one club.
Clubs may enter more than one team per division.
Each team surfs together in a 40-minute heat.
Tag format: Surfer must tag the next surfer on the beach before they paddle out.
Scoring System
Each surfer may catch two waves – only their best wave score counts towards the team total.
Bonus Points for Finishing Early:
5 minutes early = +5 points
4 minutes early = +4 points
3 minutes early = +3 points
2 minutes early = +2 points
1 minute early = +1 point
Schedule
7:30am: Club arrival and registration
8:00am: Competitors briefing & beach setup
8:30am: First heat starts
Heats: 40 minutes each (with a short turnaround between heats)
Presentation: On the beach after the final heat.
