Zing Sampler: New Harvest Olive Oils

An introduction to the new year of Northern Hemisphere olive oils! The olives for these oils are harvested in the fall and the oils that are pressed from them are released in the early winter. Join Deli Specialty Food Monger Daniel Berman to taste 5-6 of the oils that have landed at the Deli over the past few months, as well as some older harvests to discover just how drastically the flavor changes over time, and how darned good fresh olio nuovo really is! We’ll walk you through the steps to tasting olive oil, our favorite ways to use these oils and the producers behind the oils.
