Sakura Instrumental Group

Join us for a celebration of traditional Japanese music performed by Sakura Japanese Instrumental Group. The artists—hailing from Japan and the American Midwest—come together to share the soundscapes of traditional music through the compositions of their mutual mentor, Yamada Mizue of Kanazawa, Japan, as well as selections from the Kodo One World collection and traditional folk pieces.
