Roots & Shoots: Winter Foot Vegetable Adventure (Ann Arbor District Library)

Guests will enjoy a curated tasting of fresh, seasonal root vegetables—carrots, radishes, turnips, kohlrabi—paired with crisp microgreens and a single, flavorful dip. Participants will also create their own quick-pickle jar in a guided, hands-on activity using simple pantry staples like vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and spices. Each guest leaves with their personal mason jar to enjoy at home.
