This immersive 4-hour workshop combines classroom instruction, hands-on shooting, and editing techniques to help you elevate your pet photography skills.
Classroom Session:
Learn the fundamentals of what makes a great pet portrait. We’ll cover essential techniques including how to plan your shots with post-processing in mind, lighting considerations, and tips for working with animals to ensure a smooth and successful photo session.
Hands-On Shooting:
Put your learning into practice by photographing live pet models in various outdoor lighting conditions. You'll also have the opportunity to capture action shots from multiple angles. In case of inclement weather, we’ll transition to an indoor studio setup for the shoot.
Editing Session:
Return to the classroom to explore post-processing techniques that enhance your images and bring out the best in your subjects.
Recommended Gear:
Bring a portrait lens and a telephoto lens to get the most out of the session
