Chris Fick helps founders and small business leaders move from idea to clarity. Drawing from experience in design research, design anthropology, and innovation strategy, Chris guides teams to uncover insights, map opportunities, and design for impact. His office hours are a space to explore ideas, test assumptions, and build momentum toward meaningful growth.

Chris Fick is a design leader and innovation strategist with over 15 years of experience helping organizations navigate complexity and bring human-centered ideas to life. His work spans technology, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors — guiding teams through design research, systems thinking, and creative facilitation to turn uncertainty into opportunity. Chris recently partnered with the University of Michigan’s Tauber Institute to develop an AI adoption strategy for small manufacturers, blending design strategy with practical implementation. An advocate for collaborative problem-solving, Chris is passionate about helping founders and small business leaders find clarity, creativity, and confidence in their next big move.
