We’re so excited to launch the very first Harmony Lane Mahjong Social League!

Join us for six Tuesday evenings of Mahjong, friendship, friendly competition, great prizes, and plenty of fun at Venue by 4M in Ann Arbor.

This is a social league—not a tournament. Yes, we’ll keep score. Yes, we’ll crown a Season One Champion. But most importantly, this league is about gathering around the table, meeting other Mahjong lovers, improving our game, and enjoying six weeks together.

� Tuesdays, September 8 – October 13, 2026

� Check-In: 5:00–5:30 p.m.
� League Play Begins: 6:30 p.m.
� Target End Time: 9:00 p.m.

� Registration: $100 via Venmo or $110 through Partiful
� Limited to 20 players — only 5 tables available!

� HOW IT WORKS

We’ll play four scored games each Tuesday, following National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules.

Players will rotate tables throughout the evening, giving everyone an opportunity to play with lots of different people during the season.

Scoring will be simple: if you Mahj, you receive the value of the winning hand shown on the NMJL card (.25 = 25 points, .30 = 30 points, etc.).

Your best 5 weekly scores out of the 6 weeks will count toward your final league standings. That means your lowest-scoring week is dropped!

� CAN’T MAKE A WEEK?

Life happens! Substitutes are allowed.

Registered players are responsible for finding their own substitute. Subs should already know how to play American Mahjong independently, and we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

� WHO SHOULD JOIN?

This league is designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong and can play independently. It is not a beginner instructional class, but you certainly do not need to be an expert!

Bring your current NMJL card and come ready to play, connect, and have fun.

Your registration fee and completed RSVP are required to secure your spot.

Partiful: Register and pay right here through this event — $110.

Venmo: Pay $100 via Venmo at @Darcy-Beagan. Please include your name + “Social League” in the payment note.

Space is limited to just 20 players, and registration will close once all five tables are filled.
