Whether you're a seasoned horror reader or just starting to explore the genre, this club is the perfect place to celebrate the macabre. For this gathering, we'll discuss by Mariana Enriquez. We'll meet on Friday, December 11 from 7-8pm.Your Eventbrite RSVP is super helpful to our planning!About the BookA young father and son set out on a road trip, devastated by the death of the wife and mother they both loved. United in grief, the pair travel to her ancestral home, where they must confront the terrifying legacy she has bequeathed: a family called the Order that commits unspeakable acts in search of immortality. For Gaspar, the son, this maniacal cult is his destiny. As the Order tries to pull him into their evil, he and his father take flight, attempting to outrun a powerful clan that will do anything to ensure its own survival. But how far will Gaspar’s father go to protect his child? And can anyone escape their fate?Moving back and forth in time, from London in the swinging 1960s to the brutal years of Argentina’s military dictatorship and its turbulent aftermath, Our Share of Night is a novel like no other: a family story, a ghost story, a story of the occult and the supernatural, a book about the complexities of love and longing with queer subplots and themes. This is the masterwork of one of Latin America’s most original novelists, “a mesmerizing writer,” says Dave Eggers, “who demands to be read.”So... what's this book club like? This is our eighth horror book club! We hope to invite a group of people who have read the book (or don't mind a spoiler) to discuss their thoughts. We will bring prompts but invite anyone to pose a question or share their thoughts! After our book discussion, the group votes on the next session's read. Feel free to pitch a horror or thriller you've enjoyed recently or want to read with the group. While we will have water and light refreshments (including nut-free and gluten-free options), Booksweet is located in The Courtyard Shops, filled with AMAZING dining options. Food and drinks are totally welcome at the meet-up; don't feel shy about sipping boba while we chat!We hope to see you there! - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/ann-arbor/12-11-ann-arborville-horror-book-club-at-booksweet/100002002490783840 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Art, literary-art, trips-adventures - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 1 hour - Location: Booksweet - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Ann Arbor - **state**: MI - **country**: United States - **location**: Booksweet - **lat**: 42.2987897 - **long**: -83.7214474 - **full address**: Booksweet, 1729 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: 12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/9b668d31bb1290a8088858223357cc60aa6f6500d882d118badb420ee7e0fbdd-rimg-w1080-h540-dcb8b8d8-gmir.jpg?v=1790746268 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is 12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet being held? - **A:** 12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet takes place on Fri, 11 Dec, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Fri, 11 Dec, 2026 at 08:00 pm at Booksweet, 1729 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing 12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet? - **A:** 12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet is organized by Booksweet. ## Structured Data (JSON-LD) ```json [ { "@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "Event", "name": "12/11: Ann Arborville Horror Book Club at Booksweet", "image": "https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/9b668d31bb1290a8088858223357cc60aa6f6500d882d118badb420ee7e0fbdd-rimg-w1080-h540-dcb8b8d8-gmir.jpg?v=1790746268", "startDate": "2026-12-11T19:00:00-05:00", "endDate": "2026-12-11T20:00:00-05:00", "url": "https://allevents.in/ann-arbor/12-11-ann-arborville-horror-book-club-at-booksweet/100002002490783840", "eventStatus": "https://schema.org/EventScheduled", "location": { "@type": "Place", "name": "Booksweet", "address": { "@type": "PostalAddress", "streetAddress": "1729 Plymouth Road", "postalCode": "48105", "addressLocality": "Ann Arbor", "addressRegion": "MI", "addressCountry": "US" }, "geo": { "@type": "GeoCoordinates", "latitude": "42.2987897", "longitude": "-83.7214474" } }, "eventAttendanceMode": "https://schema.org/OfflineEventAttendanceMode", "description": "Join us at Booksweet for our next Horror Book Club on Friday, December 11 at 7pm!
