All are welcome to join us at DMACC Ankeny Campus on Wednesday, May 20th, for the 6th annual Steps of Hope Overdose Awareness Walk!!
My name is Ann, I'm the founder of Steps of Hope Iowa. I'm a mom that lost my son, Daniel, on 11/01/20. He should be turning 35 on the day we walk... He is a son, a dad and a brother. He had a huge heart! He loved BIG!
Bring your family! Bring your friends! Bring your neighbors! Have you lost someone to this epidemic? Be encouraged to bring a picture of your person to carry with you. They walk with us! They are making a difference!
There is no registration fee. We will gather at the gazebo, near the pond and across from the Culinary Institute (building 7) and walk around the pond. One loop around is 1.182 miles. There will be tables set up with free information and resources for all starting at 5:00pm. There will be Naloxone training and distribution on site.
