- **Event Description**: Join us for a 2-day island-themed art camp! K-4th grade students will use a variety of mediums to learn new techniques, sharpen their skills, and complete cool projects. Guests will take artistic inspiration from the movie Moana. We'll save plenty of time for free play, optional art activities, snacking, and hanging out with friends. We'll watch 1/2 of the Moana Movie with popcorn each afternoon to relax. Expect your child to create, learn, and play throughout the day.

DATE: July 9th-10th

TIME: 9am-3pm 

GRADES: K-4th (Register by the grade your student will enter in the fall.) 

INSTRUCTORS: Mrs. Jetmund, Rock Creek Elementary Art Teacher

LOCATION: Kids Create Studio, 315 SW Maple Suite F, Ankeny IA 

TUITION: $110 on sale

CAMP STYLE: All camps are drop off style unless specifically noted that they are "adult w/ child.' Please know that we do not mix the 2 styles. If your child needs accommodations, please reach out before registering. 

WHAT TO BRING: Sending a no-spill water bottle is helpful. Please pack a peanut free sack lunch. 

WHAT TO WEAR: Always send your child in clothing that can get stained. 

SNACKS: Please note all health concerns and food allergies. Confirm serious allergies with your instructor when you drop your student off. Snacks and treats are typically given at all events longer than 2 hours. Our most common snacks include popcorn w/ M&M's, suckers, popsicles, goldfish crackers, and ice cream treats.
