Join us at the Museum for a special evening with local author Chris Kneupper as he presents his latest book, Here Rests the Brave: A Chronological and Archaeological History of Fort Velasco.

During this engaging talk, Kneupper will explore the fascinating—and often overlooked—history of the many forts collectively known as Fort Velasco. Drawing from historical research and archaeological discoveries, he will guide guests through the story of these important coastal defenses and the people connected to them.

Following the presentation, guests will have the opportunity to meet the author and have their books signed.
