Wood Chopping Championships at Blackman's Brewery, Torquay

Our second annual Wood Chopping Championship is ON!! With a special guest Bluegrass Band so that we can fire up the outside dance floor once the winner is crowned. Lock it in!

We're bringing back all the nostalgia and magic of local chopping champs from back in the day. All while drinking a local beer, cider and seltzer at the brewery.

The Western Victorian Axeman's Association has secured a full line up of competitors, and the format is going to see out an action packed day. 12 underhand competitors and 12 standing block competitors, cutting one on one in two separate events. We’ll end with two finals of 3 competitors and announce the champion.

Followed by some live tunes and a little dancing, we are SO EXCITED about this one!!!
