Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country and is part of the larger Shop Small Movement. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Since it started in 2010, consumers have reported spending an estimated $200 billion at small businesses.

So, on Saturday, November 29th, we encourage you to get a start on your holiday shopping in small, locally owned businesses. Before you put that amazon order though, take a stroll through Angier and see what treats and treasures you can find first.

During the holiday shopping season, it’s more important than ever to keep dollars in the local economy. When money is spent at locally owned businesses, that money continues to circulate in the community. We have fantastic stores and businesses with wonderful items including home decor, clothing, food, spa treatments, and more.
