There have been several attempts by a number of Kapampángan Language advocates to “save” the Kapampángan Language, yet despite their best efforts, the Kapampángan Language continue to decline. Worse, the Kapampángan Language is marginalized, looked down upon, and taken for granted, even within its own homeland. 

Advocates often blame modernizaton and technology like cellphones and the internet for the sad state of the Kapampángan language. Parents blame the school. Others blame the increasing number of migrants within the Kapampángan homeland. Other advocates blame themselves and their own people. What many of them fail and even refuse to see however another possible cause for the decline of the Kapampángan Language. 

In this lecture forum, Nigel Christopher Ayson of the Ágúman Sínúpan Singsing, Inc. will enlighten us with the most likely cause of the endangerment of the Kapampángan Language ~  Oppression.
