- **Event Description**: We are delighted to welcome a representative from Riverside Reptiles Education Center in Enfield back to the library after an absence of many years!  On Tuesday, August 11th at 6PM, join us for "Reptiles & Amphibians!"

During this program, you will meet eight different species of reptiles and amphibians from around the world.  From salamanders, frogs, and toads to turtles, snakes, lizards, and even a crocodilian, this program introduces participants to a wide variety of cold-blooded animals. Learn about their unique adaptations, survival strategies, what they eat, and how they interact with their environments. Along the way, we lightly touch on conservation topics and explain why protecting habitats helps reptiles, amphibians, and people alike.  This is a fun, hands-on introduction that’s perfect for first-time audiences and all age groups.

As space is limited to 40 visitors -- adults & children -- we need participants to register for this program as soon as possible.  There is no charge for this program, but we do want to know if you're planning to be here, so call today:  860-742-7428.
