During this beginner- to moderate-level class, you'll learn how to add faux calligraphy to a traditional place card, placemat, and personalized ornaments for your guests to keep. Included in the class fee are your 3 finished pieces, a calligraphy practice worksheet, printable placemat templates, and a supply list to give you a head start on your DIY crafting at home. Bring a family member or friend for a fun way to start the holiday season together!

Emily Groth is a calligrapher and watercolor illustrator based near Knoxville, TN. In addition to creating wall art and printed stationery for her business Signed Cricket, she uses her 7+ years’ experience with calligraphy to teach beginners in workshops around the Knoxville area.
