Calligraphy for Beginners

Sunday, March 22 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Attendees will learn the one universal rule of calligraphy, experiment with two different calligraphy styles, and gain confidence using a brush pen. At the end of class, we will do a beginner-friendly postcard craft using your new skills. Supplies for you to take home include your brush pen, worksheets, practice prompts, and a supply resource list.

About the Instructor
Emily Groth is a calligrapher and watercolor illustrator based near Knoxville, TN. In addition to creating wall art and printed stationery for her business Signed Cricket, she uses her 8+ years’ calligraphy experience for teaching beginner workshops around the Knoxville area.
