The city of Anderson, CHRB (Community Housing Resource Board) and the Value Village invites you to our ABCs of Frugality Workshop. This workshop will consist of four(4) consecutive weeks of teaching how to get more bang for your buck.
What will be covered in this workshop are the ABCs of Frugality. (A)Acceptance & Action, (B)Budgeting, (C)Credit, (D)Deprivation and (F)Fear.
What is Frugality? Most people think it is about saving on small things, about buying the cheapest items or choosing to pay utility bills instead of buying medicine you need. True frugality is a creative way to reach your goal, to be able to choose quality over quantity.
We all know that keeping up with the rising cost of living can be a challenge. We also know that managing a budget and making ends meet can sometimes over-whelm us. To help with taking the stress out of managing your money we have Ms. Debbie Sloan who has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and the founder of a multi-service business who also has become an advocate for the Art of Frugality, drawing from her years of personal success in living within one's means, she teaches others how to implement frugal strategies to make ends meet and build savings for the future.
