Think Jockey Lot in one space. Instead of pre-packing backpacks, we have shoppers escort guests to each station to pick up items they would like to put in their backpack. The first station would provide the backpack and punch card. Then, the guests can "shop" the tables and pick items they want from the various stations set up around the area. We're thinking there could be as many as 15 stations based on last year's experience.

Save the Date -- Monday, Dec 22nd, 9:30am - Noon
First Presbyterian Church agreed to let us use their Family Life Center (basketball court-size) facility for the backpack packing event on Monday, December 22nd. The plan is to set up at 9:30 a.m. and allow our friends to fill their backpacks until about 11:30.

Items Still Needed for the Backpacks
Now that the backpacks are on hand, we need to come up with a list of items to go into them! Here's a list of items based on those we provided last year. Please coordinate with us before you purchase any of these items. We'll need about 250 of each item to fill all of the backpacks. As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Backpack Giveaway: Become a Merry Maker this Christmas!
This Christmas season, we’re spreading hope, joy, and warmth through our annual Backpack Giveaway and we’d love for you to be a part of it! Each table at our event has a dedicated set of items that help bless our neighbors in need, and we’re inviting you to sign up as a Merry Maker or Stocking Stuffer Shopper!

As a Merry Maker, you’ll help greet guests, keep your table stocked, and make sure every backpack is filled with love and care. Our Stocking Stuffer Shopper will help guide our guests through each of the tables, helping them select what items they would like in their backpacks.
