The last time we hosted Shoko, she was swaying high above the asphalt at Bizet Bizar, performing as a duo with Anouk Neyens. This time she appears solo, at Walter, with both feet firmly on the ground.

Roger Kintopf has been on Walter’s radar since 2023. That year, the German bassist delivered a stunning stand-in performance in Kit Downes’ project ENEMY. His own quartet, CIPHER, is instantly recognizable yet full of surprise.
