- **Event Description**: ST. MARY'S RUN FOR THE ROUX GUMBO COOK-OFF AND 5K will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The event will begin at 9:00 am with the 5K race, followed by a 1-Mile Fun Run at 10:00 am. This is a chip-timed race and will follow the same course as previous years. We encourage you to wear your favorite Mardi Gras costumes and attire! The more festive, the better!

Your registration fee includes an event t-shirt as well as a ticket for admission to the Gumbo Cook-off. Amateur and professional chefs will be cooking up delicious gumbo and serving cups to race participants as well as the general public. Additional Gumbo tickets may be purchased for $10.00 each. Complimentary hot dogs will be available for children 12 and under. Gumbo will be served from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM.

Pre-race packet pick-up will be Friday, February 13, from 4:00-6:00 PM at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. You may also check-in on the day of the race, beginning at 7:30 AM.
