- **Event Description**: Join us for Sousapalooza! This annual national event is Alaska’s celebration of “International Make Music Day,” commemorated around the world on June 21st. Concert band musicians of all ages gather to play the music of John Philip Sousa, “The March King”. Come be a part of the celebration as a musician or as part of the audience!

PERFORMANCE TIME: Concert begins at 2:00 PM, and lasts approx. 1 hour.  Please note this is an outdoor fair weather event. Cancellation may occur if it rains.

MUSICIANS: Please visit www.horndoc.com to register and download music. If you encounter any difficulties, please just EMAIL alaskamusicandsound@gmail.com with your name and instrument. We'll email your music to print at home. Set up begins at 1:00pm, be ready for warm-ups at 1:30pm.  Plan for limited parking. Free space-available parking in the museum's underground garage after 10am.
WHAT TO BRING: your music, instrument, chair and music stand.
Dress in patriotic RED, WHITE & BLUE! All musicians eligible to win prizes!
