When our leaders fail to act, the community steps up.
In Alaska, our neighbors are going hungry because of cuts to essential food benefits. Our elected officials are not adequately representing the needs of Alaskans. If the government won't feed its people, we will join together to provide a community meal.
Join us for Soup for SNAP, a community soup line to support those affected and send a clear message: we demand action and accountability. We are standing in solidarity to care for one another when our representatives will not. This is more than just a meal; it's a powerful statement that we will not let our community be forgotten.
We will gather in front of Nick Begich's office to share a warm bowl of soup and show what true community looks like.
Your presence is a powerful act of support for your neighbors and a call for justice.
If you are able, please bring non-perishible goods to donate to the Alaska Food Bank.
Let's stand together and demand better for Alaska.
