Advance registration is required online, only one group of up to 4 is allowed per date. Meet Cranbeary and Kova, the two female polar bears residing at the Alaska Zoo! Go with a zookeeper to see them behind-the-scenes and learn about their lives, their bond and their wild counterparts. The encounter will be 30 minutes and will include watching training the zookeepers do on a daily basis. Reserve a date for this limited offer encounter.
Please read the following:
- Encounters are 30 minutes long, starting at 10:30am.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early at the zoo entrance.
- A zookeeper will meet you at the zoo entrance.
- Participants must be age 9 or older with an adult.
- Fee is $500, and this is for up to 4 attendees.
- A small service fee is added in online checkout.
- Fee includes the encounter and admission for the day.
- We do not prorate the fee for fewer than 4 people.
- We only allow one booking group per date.
- Advance registration online is required.
Encounter purchases are non-refundable, but we can work with you to reschedule in the event of emergency or illness. If you are feeling ill, we ask that you let us know and we will reschedule for the safety of zoo staff and animals.
It is find to bring a camera or phone for pictures and videos. Please leave all food and drinks in your car. Thank you for supporting the Alaska Zoo!
