October Slip Training and General Meeting

Join the NAWIC Alaska Chapter for their General Meeting and Slip Simulator Training

General October Slip Simulator training on Oct 27th at 3:30 pm. Please note that this training is limited to only 15-20 participants. RSVP REQUIRED!

The training will be 90-120 minutes (120 minutes when we’re 15-20 people on the simulator) total.

Please dress comfortably to accommodate bending, kneeling, wearing a full body harness, and placing a shoe cover over your shoe to utilize the slip simulator. Sneakers are required at a minimum to guarantee the anti-traction devices fit correctly. Please do NOT wear shoes with heels or spikes of any kind or skirts/dresses that would interfere with wearing a full body harness, or you will not be able to utilize the slip simulator. Please ensure that any long hair, jewelry, or loose-fitting clothing on the upper back area are secured or removed so they do not get caught in the slip simulator!

Others not in the simulator are encouraged to come to the classwork instruction at the beginning and watch the others go through the simulator (there might be some laughs 😉).

We will have food and drinks set up in the large conference room for $25 per person.
