First Friday at the Anchorage Museum

Bring the whole family to enjoy free admission. Explore four floors of galleries and exhibitions, get hands on in the Discovery Center, create in the Art Lab, or watch rapid space shorts in the Planetarium.

6:30, 7, 7:30, 8 & 8:30 p.m. Discovery Center, Thomas Planetarium
These quick planetarium experiences range from constellation tours of the night sky and cruising around the solar system to learning about light and the aurora borealis. Free; ticket required and available at the front desk after 6 p.m.

ArtLab – Free Create First Friday
6-8 p.m. Discovery Center, Art Lab
Join us during First Friday hours to freely create and gather with the community in a fun and judgment-free zone. Open to all ages, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
