Help save a life. Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference.About this EventThis two-day interactive workshop offers you a space to learn suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop—ASIST can be learned and used by anyone.To receive credit for this workshop participants need to attend both days of the workshop from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For more info about ASIST please visit.In support of improving patient care, Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Ph*rm*cy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. CPE Credit will be posted to the online CPE Monitor system within 60 days following completion of each activity when applicable. The ANMC Joint Accreditation CE Program Portfolio additionally supports Behavioral Health (APA), Social Work (ASWB-ACE), and Dietitians (CPEU).
