Time to TROT! 🏁 🦃 Walk, run, stroller or gobble with us at our largest event, the 2025 Turkey Trot, and help support the Food Bank of Alaska, November 27! 🙌 🥧 Gather your friends and family for the holiday -- with a 5K and 2 Mile, we have a distance for everyone!! 🫵 With a 5K or a 2 Mile, we have a distance for everyone. Stick around as we give age class winner a fresh pie, then head off to your Thanksgiving dinner!
The Turkey Trot is one of our favorites and is our largest event! Add this tradition to your family's holiday plan and help support Food Bank of Alaska! 2026 goal: $20,000 and 1,000 pounds of food!
The Turkey Trot will be downtown on the legacy 5K and 2 Mile courses, with the indoor finish line in the Dena’ina Center! You can stay plenty warm before and after and there’s room on course for a record number of participants. Even more reason to come out and help us support Food Bank of Alaska!
The start line will be at 8th Ave. and G St by the ConocoPhillips building. The finish will be inside the Dena’ina Center from G St. and 8th Ave. The pies are still on for age class awards and we know it will be a great way to celebrate the holiday with your family and friends.
Skinny Raven will be accepting non-perishable food donations at either location throughout November. Bring in a donation and be entered to win a pair of super grippy Icebug studded shoes! You can donate monetarily as well! SRS has some great gifts for reaching fundraising goals:
- Individual Goal: Raise $500 or more and be entered into a drawing for a pair of Skinny Raven shoes!
- Team Goal: Raise $2,000 or more and be entered into a drawing for one of two team dinners (up to $150) for the Bear/Moose’s Tooth!
