We are excited to invite your students to participate in The Workshop Unplug-A-Thon, happening September 16-30.

This student challenge encourages kids to spend as many days screen-free as possible by stepping away from entertainment screens like phones, tablets, computers, TV, and game consoles. Instead, students can read, play outside, create, help at home, serve others, spend time with family, and try new offline activities.

Students will track their screen-free time with a parent using a tracking sheet. Family and friends can support their effort by giving a pledge through our Givebutter campaign.

Students with the most screen-free time will win prizes from our prize pool, and the team that raises the most money will win a celebratory pizza party with activities and games.

The goal is not perfection. Schoolwork and necessary family communication are completely okay. We simply want to encourage students to be intentional with their time, build healthy habits, and help support The Workshop’s student and community programming.
