- **Event Description**: The Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) is all set to host its fourteenth edition of Anand Run, the annual district-level marathon on 19th January 2020.The aim of this marathon is to celebrate a cause and convey a social message to the masses. The run has a past of publicizing important issues such as cashless economy, the welfare of underprivileged children and environmental conservation. In the past, this event has witnessed active participation from a great number of people who wanted to support the cause.This year the theme for Anand Run is “Bachpan se Equal”. The very idea of this theme is to create awareness among the masses about gender sensitization and building the values of gender equity from early childhood. Keeping the theme in mind, IRMA is proud to associate with NGO ‘Bachhpan’ which is educating underprivileged children in the city since 2011. As a part of the event, there are various workshops on gender sensitization and behavioral changes along with Nukkad Natak. The experience and reach of Bachhpan will enable us in conducting such activities in the best manner possible and would also help in promoting our event on a large scale.The 14th edition of Anand Run is expected to witness participation of around 1500 people from Anand and nearby districts.Prizes worth Rs.65000/-Participants will be getting Certificates,T Shirt, & Refreshments
