- **Event Description**: Join us as we celebrate the legacy of the legendary pioneering keyboardist, synthesist, and composer, Keith Emerson (Emerson, Lake & Palmer) as we near the 10th anniversary of his passing. We will explore Keith’s musical beginnings, his use of the Moog modular synthesizer in the studio and on tour, his relationship with Bob Moog, his passion for composing, the creation of the Keith Emerson Modular Reissue, and his enduring legacy. 

Our panelists include Mari Kawaguchi (Keith’s financé), Brian Kehew (Moog Cookbook, Moog historian, co-creator of the Emerson Moog Modular System replica, Recording the Beatles), Steve Porcaro (Keyboardist TOTO), and Rich Wahlborn (Moog Music (Buffalo) engineer 1976-1987, Keith’s synthesizer technician on the 1973-74 Brain Salad Surgery tour), and Rachel Flowers (virtuosa keyboardist, synthesist, and multi-instrumentalist). Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation, will moderate the panel.  This panel is provided in conjunction with the Bob Moog Foundation exhibiting a Keith Emerson Modular reissue in its NAMM booth.
