The trio combines poetry, improvisation, and dance into colourful songs. Zorzal has the ambition to build a bridge between the Mexican folklore music Son Huasteco and the music scene in Amsterdam.Zorzal as a collective, is an ambassador of the Son Huasteco tradition in The Netherlands and Europe. The so-called Son Huasteco or Huapango, is a lively traditional music style from Mexico’s Huasteca’s region, bursting full of energy and charm.
